Focus and Scope

The series, promoted by the “Associazione per la Storia della Lingua Italiana – ASLI sezione Scuola”, is dedicated to promoting collective works or monographs on topics related to the teaching of the Italian language at all levels of school, university, and professional training. While open to interdisciplinary contributions, the journal’s primary area of study is Italian Linguistics, with a particular focus on educational applications and the intersection of linguistic theories and teaching practices.

The series is aimed at the academic and research community, scholars of Italian linguistics and language education, and teachers of Italian in Italy and abroad, with the aim of strengthening the dialogue between academic research and school practices.

Peer Review Process

During the pre-publication phase, contributions or groups of contributions (for edited volumes) or a single volume (for monographs) are sent to two external reviewers for a double-blind review. Generally, the first reviewer is a representative of the scientific research community, while the second is a representative of the academic world with editorial and research experience.

The review process is managed by the editors, who are also responsible for publication.

The series follows an open access policy in all its contents, in order to facilitate as much as possible the diffusion of scientific knowledge among scholars and all interested people.

It releases its books under the terms of Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
